Mechanical, Structural & Electrical Training

Whether welding, pipe fitting, structural fabrication or design services, electrical or civil projects, our employees are well trained on current and up-to-date materials for industrial, commercial and residential projects.

ShureLine Employees participate in a company sponsored in-house NCCER Training program. Each discipline is derived from the NCCER (National Center for Construction Education and Research) program. Certified trainers from the NCCER programs are brought in to teach

our employees. Employees also receive training for site-specific or job-specific requirements.

Equipment Training

ShureLine trains all employees in the use of construction and mobile equipment. Our standard rule is that employees must be trained, tested and certified prior to use of any construction equipment including power tools. Our programs for Hi-Reach, Scissor Lift, Fork Truck, Boom Truck, Bucket Truck, and Crane training require yearly certification and testing.

ON-SITE SAFETY CONTROL AND SAFETY PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

The ShureLine's Industrial Safety Record is founded on a Safety Policy consisting of twenty-two safety procedures, including the four key procedures required by OSHA for all safety program policies / programs.

Below are the topics in which we train each employee repeatedly. Upon completion, employees are tested and results recorded via the "Simply-Safety" system. This program includes D&A Testing dates and results, respiratory training, fit tests, able to wear tests and more.

Additional employee training includes High-Reach, Scissor Lift, Mobile Equipment and Truck Crane & Bucket Truck training.

Safety Audits
Safety audits are performed by the ShureLine Safety Advisor / Manager with monthly assistance from the Safety Director. Each audit is reviewed weekly by the director. Surprise Safety Audits are performed monthly by the Director and a ShureLine Owner.

Safety Task Force
ShureLine has a Safety Task Force consisting of the Safety Director, management personnel and employees. The Task Force meets once a month to discuss safety concerns, review safety audits, plan jobs and handle suggestions sent in by the general population of employees.

ShureLine Goals
ShureLine has set the bar high with expectations of "Zero Accidents — Zero Injuries". Each employee is given an overall "Safety Outlook" explaining our commitment as a company and their duty as an employee to participate fully in our programs as a job requirement. Yearly results are explained and goals set forth in this fiscal year report.

Safety Incentive Programs
ShureLine uses several incentives and rewards employees for their participation and for milestones achieved during projects and/or quarterly safety goals. In addition to morale-building recognition awards, ShureLine offers a Safety Rewards Program in which monetary incentives are offered to those who perform safely. Rewards are offered for SAI Audit performance, training, safety ideas and more. There is also a President's Award for exemplary safety performance.

Safety Suggestion Program
Employees are encouraged to make safety suggestions on job planning, tools, equipment and even procedure modifications. Awards are offered for the best suggestions.

Internal Communication Program
ShureLine has a quarterly newsletter distributed to each employee. It includes a message from the President on a topic of his choosing. A full section of each issue is set aside for developments concerning safety in the workplace, a safety tip of the month and upcoming training offerings to our employees.

Each facet of Shurline's training and safety awareness is designed to cultivate the highest possible industrial safety record. For inquiries or safety-related information contact Steve Opdenaker or John Baaden.
