I want to share an acknowledgement for the Shure-line crew that completed the Gen3 work last month.

Your crew safely navigated a 7-month long job, including 2 shutdowns over (3) holidays without incident.

Outside of those long shutdowns – each week they laid out their plans and worked closely with operations to ensure their production activities were prioritized.

On more than one occasion, Jim and Greg expressed gratitude for the professional and positive attitudes of your leadership and crew.  I think about how the Pre-blend vessel schedule had to shift to accommodate the new nozzle installation.  I know that Gus, Jim and Greg spent a great deal of time reviewing the Shure-line critical path work in detail.  Their creativity and flexibility allowed us to remain on schedule for the December shutdown.

It should also be noted that over the course of those 7 months there were upwards of 10 different contractors.  All with different critical tasks and schedules; with Shure-line bearing a majority of that scope.  Most of these crews had to interact in that small space – with production running, with COVID restrictions.  Gus needs to be acknowledged for his close coordination with all of those folks – specifically our operations and the Alliance crew. 

Operations, Engineering, and our leadership all commented that the craftmanship of the work was excellent, but the highlight was by far the safety focus the team brought every day.  From the onset this was an aggressive schedule, add to that all the typical construction delays, plus some not-so typical (new nozzles) – the Shure-line crew handled it safely.   

Please be sure that this type of safety performance and craftmanship gets noticed.

ShureLine played a major role in an expansion I was managing for Bostik. They constructed a multistory building for us from steel fabricated in their own shop. The quality of work was outstanding.  The workers were all professional,  safe workers, that helped finish the building  on a tight schedule and within budget.  ShureLine also assisted in the installation of some very complicated packaging equipment that needed to be rigged into place and erected under the supervision of the equipment supplier. This job was  also finished safely without incident or issues, ahead of schedule, and under the projected budget.  Selecting ShureLine was a key to the success of the project!

We do a lot of stairways for this customer. You’re my new stairway fabricator! More will be coming throughout the year. I’d rather use you guys, because I can tell it’s all quality work just by speaking to you guys!! …The onsite project manager says everything looks great, but we haven’t installed it yet. Once installation is done I will have a better idea on how everything fit. The turnaround on the stairway was awesome! We received the stairway exactly when you told us. Think you spoiled me on that!! Something I’m not used to is receiving material when I was told. So I am very happy with your work and the way you do business!! As far as I’m concerned you’re getting all the stairways that come across my desk from here on!!

Your performance on this job DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I was VERY PLEASED with how EVERYTHING went from submittals, to delivery times, to installation!! You guys run a tight, first class operation in my opinion and I GREATLY appreciate the customer service and loyalty you have shown me after just a brief working history. Know that it is viewed as an honor! Thanks again for everything! I look forward to the next one as well.

As usual, all work was fantastic! We will always keep you in mind for future project.

Today you pulled your high lifts off the job and we should have built a bigger steel structure to keep your guys here working. Mal and his crew did an excellent job!!!! They were great to deal with and just went about their business getting the project erected in little more than 2 weeks. They were neat and picked up after themselves. There was no screaming, no foul language, always very conscious of safety concerns, which makes us all happy considering OSHA violations. The steel fit like a glove and I never thought the wing walls sitting on those huge 4’ long, 1 ½’ anchor bolts would ever make it on the first try. I thought for sure we would be beating the hell out of the bolts and steel to make them fit. Tribute to your shop drawings and shop fabrication team. Now, I can only hope that you will have Mal and his crew work on the steel erection for the VW project in a few weeks.

I’d just like to take this opportunity to thank both you and your crew for the successful completion of the Pepco Holding Data Center Expansion Project. As you are aware this project had many challenges associated with it and at every opportunity Shureline Electrical stepped up to the plate and did whatever it took to meet all project deadlines. Your staff was always helpful and provided a high quality product to the owner. I’d like to specifically thank both Dennis Greg and Howard Jones for their total commitment to this project and let you know how much I appreciated their knowledge and user friendly attitude. It was truly a pleasure working with such a professional organization and I look forward to our next project together.

Your company was selected to provide design build mechanical services for a liquid chemical process where the scope included installation of new storage tanks, process and utility piping systems, and rail and truck unload systems. Your design staff utilized a 3D graphic system for the mechanical design of the project, which proved not be a very valuable tool in design reviews. It provided a clear basis showing the relationship between the existing process system and the project scope. This format also allowed plant operation personnel and non technical personnel to more easily understand and provide valuable comments on the design. As Construction Manager for this project, I would like to commend you and your personnel for a job well done. It was a pleasure working with your company on this project.
